Efficient power distribution is critical in large commercial and industrial buildings. Our power distribution service designs and installs sub-main networks, distribution boards and final circuits that deliver power where it is needed with minimal voltage drop and maximum safety. We calculate loads, balance phases and select cable sizes to ensure every circuit operates within safe parameters, even under peak demand.

How It Works

Our Process

01

Distribution Survey

We assess the building layout, existing supplies, total loads and growth plans to design an efficient distribution network.

02

Engineering Design

We produce detailed calculations for cable sizes, voltage drop, breaker ratings and phase balance, with a full distribution schematic.

03

Installation

Our electricians install sub-mains, distribution boards and final circuits neatly using cable tray, conduit and trunking appropriate to the environment.

04

Testing & Documentation

Every circuit is tested and the whole network is verified under load. You receive as-built drawings, test results and certification.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is a sub-main in power distribution?

A sub-main is a large cable that runs from the main distribution board to a secondary board in a remote part of the building, reducing the amount of final circuit cabling needed.

How do you prevent voltage drop in large buildings?

We calculate voltage drop for every circuit and select cable sizes accordingly. For very long runs we may install intermediate distribution boards to shorten final circuit lengths.

Can you design distribution for a new building?

Yes. We work with architects and M&E consultants to design the electrical distribution from the intake point through to every final circuit, producing full construction drawings.
